Switzerland Looking to improve your quality of life, surround yourself by stunning nature and eat plenty of delicious chocolate? Then Switzerland might be the place for you. Here are some reasons one should consider moving to this country:

Work – Salaries in Switzerland are high, with those living in Geneva and Zurich said to have the average highest income in the world – especially in the finance or banking industries.

Education – Switzerland’s education is known to be among the best. Those moving with children will have a good range of suitable options – including public, international and English schools.

Transportation – Thanks to Switzerland’s geographical location, surrounding European countries are very easy to travel to. It will take you no more than a couple of hours to travel to some of the most beautiful countries. Other than that, transportation methods are all efficient and timely. Since Switzerland is a part of Schengen, those without a visa can also travel easily.

Healthcare – Paying for healthcare insurance within the first three months of moving to Switzerland is compulsory, but in return, you are guaranteed high-quality care and short waiting times.

Food – Swiss food isn’t well known for no reason. From the famous choices – Fondue, Swiss chocolate and cheese, Meringues – to other traditional dishes, such as Rösti (a dish resembling a potato pancake), or Späztle (a type of egg noodle dish), it is hard to go wrong with your restaurant orders.

Sport – If you’re a physically active person, Switzerland will be a great country to live in – seeing as it is your go to for wintersports, and therefore, a prime location for skiing and snowboarding.
